So my daycare just changed their rules....Vent!

I just got an e-mail...The daycare that costs the same as my Manhattan rent is changing their rules. We have to bring DD by 9:30 am instead of 10 (DH used to bring her around 10).

I can no longer bring my stroller because its a Bugaboo. (too big they say).

Also if you a teacher leaves her job to work for you, you have to pay $3500

They also don't want you talking to teachers that babysit for you about the daycare. I wonder why

The teachers in Jordana's room are really wonderful but the head of the room is such an idiot (must be friend/related to the owner). I went in on Monday to stay with them for the Music Class - Music Together comes to the daycare and I wanted to see Jordana's first class. Well the head of the room (who was outside) calls me out to ask me if I drive. I tell her yes- and she asks me to go to the owner outside. The owner asks me if X sent me outside to her. I told her yes. She couldn't believe it. The owner needed someone to sit in her car until 10:00 and move the car and asked for a teacher to be sent out (alternate side of the street parking). HELLO!!! I am going to work late to be with my daughter during her music class. The teachers ask me what happened and I told them. They couldn't believe X would call me out to sit in the owner's car.

That is crazy and how would anyone know that a teacher is working for you privately? I dont think the Bugaboo is that big. It seems to be the same size as the Graco Tour just lighter.

I don't know what's more offensive. Paying an extra $3500 for a teacher who works for you privately, or asking you to sit in the owner's car so she doesn't get a ticket. How absurd.
