so my SIL and nephews have ringworm

i feel so bad for them, i just hope we don't get it b/c we were around them on sun and she got it on mon and then discovered it on my nephew today.

the only good thing is she called and said i'm so sorry, we wont be able to be around the baby for a while when he comes and i'm like are you kidding, thats fine with me LOL i wouldn't let them near him anyway. and then i was able to transition into, well the doctor said for the little ones not be around the baby the 1st month anyway (her kids are 2.3 years and 3 1/2 and always sick so my doctor really said this) and she's like oh good that worked out well, so i was so happy b/c i was afraid i would hurt her feelings by telling her she couldn't bring the kids around for a while. i am so relieved that all worked out!

I did some work in a preschool a few years ago - a kid there had ringworm, I got it and had it for almost a year - it was awful!!!!! AWFUL, awful... OMG...

Nothing worked - not prescription creams - nothing - I wanted to cry - the only thing that did work, actually, was this tea tree oil gel I used - if you are interested - let me know - I use it for after shaving.... its the best stuff!!!

a child in my preschool class had it this year! thankfully no one else got it!! that is definitely not fun!

I got ring worm once and it wasn't that bad. Don't you have to come into direct contact with it??
