Update:

Everyhting looks perfect! baby is measuring exactly where s/he should be and was swimming around like crazy. I have never been so happy in my life! Thank you all so much for taking the time to write me words of encouragement, I was reading them whenever I had a chance at work today and they really got me through the day. I feel like I can finally take a deep breath and relax (for now!). Thanks you all again!

Tomorrow is technically my first appointment (had a sono a few weeks ago bc of a little spotting and saw the heartbeat, but didn't do the actual first appointment stuff). I am so nervous that something is going to be wrong. I really have no symptoms other than being tired and sometimes getting a little nauseas if I don't eat something as soon as I wake up. I feel like that's not a good sign. And after a long road struggling with infertility I just cannot shake this feeling that this isn't meant for me. Please tell me I'm not the only one who has felt this way and that I'm being crazy.

We've all been through it. You're not crazy! Especially after the long road you took to get here - it's so understandable why you're nervous.

FYI, scr.ew those books that say that women with more morning sickness have healthier pregnancies. I think that's just something they tell people so they can look on the bright side of feeling so sick. It's like when you tell someone who steps in dog poo, "hey, at least that's good luck!" Baloney. I never threw up once, and neither did my mom, grandmother, or cousin, and we all had healthy pregnancies. My whole first tri, my only symptom was fatigue. I didn't even get sore boobs until near 10 or 11 weeks.

Many women feel this way. I had tears rolling down my face when we first saw the heartbeat because I was so scared that there wouldn't be one. I'm sure everything will go well tomorrow. Try not to stress about it (this is the pot calling the kettle black by the way). There are tons of women that have no or very few symptoms and go on to have healthy and happy babies.

Thank you so much for you kind words! I am 9.5 weeks. We saw the heartbeat when I went at about 6 weeks so I'm assuming we'll see even more tomorrow.

Ooh, at 9.5 weeks it'll look like a little peanut! My favorite sono pic is from around then. AND we saw her wiggle her feet! You think seeing the heart beat is magical - wait till the first time you see the baby move.

I really dont have much advice but wanted to offer you tons of hugs Im sure everything is going to be just fine especially since you already saw the heartbeat. Are you still spotting?

Honestly, the main symptom I had for the first 10 weeks was that I always had to eat something as soon as I woke up. I was starving! That was totally not he norm for me because I don't usually eat/like breakfast. I did not start getting morning sickness until 8 weeks. Good luck a your sono

DOnt worry.....I felt the same way. I was like I waited so long for this I dont think I can handle something being wrong and starting over. Everything will be fine!!!! But you will be on edge for awhile. I still have days like that at almost 20w. Just trust that this was meant to be and try to enjoy as much as possible....that worry will slowly start to fade.

I have days like this too. Anytime my symptoms subside for a day or two I think the worst. It's the beginning of a lonnnng road of always worrying about your LO. I'm sure everything will be fine and you will have a great appointment!

I totally feel your pain. I was petrified for all my appointments in the beginning, especially because I didn't have a ton of symptoms. Try to stay positive and update us when you can.

I am 28 weeks tomorrow and still barely feel pregnant, never threw up and have kept up with my normal exercise routine the whole time. No/few symptoms mean nothing!! Prayers that everything goes well!!!

ETA: I was a nervous wreck until about 12 weeks or so.....but I will tell you for me it has not gone away. I feel WAY better but I still get nervous and worry...I think it's just part of the journey. We start worrying now and it just continues after they are born.

I didn't really have much morning sickness with DS and he's almost 2 and crazy. Don't worry about the morning sickness stuff is BS. If you already saw a heartbeat that is such a great sign. You are not crazy, you are NORMAL. Let us know how it goes! I'm sure you'll be fine

i totally felt the same way. i was pretty nervous up until we got the results of our NT scan. i wish i could tell you it gets easier, but the further along you get, you find new stuff to worry about!

You're definitely not crazy or the only one who felt that way; I was soo nervous too...but since you saw the HB already,your chance of miscarriage decreases a lot!!

I'm37 weeks and still worrying...you just have to try to relax and enjoy it all.Worrying about your little one will be a part of your life from now on!

Dont let the worry consume soon...but it's totally normal.

it can be really scary after IF treatments! in my first pregnancy i had no morning sickness just would get nauseous if i didn't eat and nothing was appealing. im having the same now and im pregnant with twins. you don't need to have lots of symptoms to have a healthy pregnancy

Being worried before your first appointment is completely normal and common. I felt more nausea that morning than any other time this whole pregnancy.

I have had almost no symptoms either. A LOT of women don't get any symptoms. It's just as normal as having bad morning sickness and severe exhaustion.

Can't wait to hear how about how great the appt went!!!

My first appointment is next Tuesday and the last few days I've been paranoid because I have almost no symptoms. I even contemplated changing my appointment to move it up! I think it's perfectly normal to be nervous. I'm sure everything will be great!

worrying is 100% normal! I was convinced something would happen to this pregnancy but I am 9 weeks and still going strong. I thought the dr would want to do another sono to make sure everything was still there but she surprised me. She was like "Everything is fine. There was a heartbeat, you have symptoms. I'll see you at 12 weeks."
