So not only is tomorrow Abby's baby naming...
BUT
It is also Harvey Wallbanger Day!
AWESOME!!!
"Here’s the story (supposedly) about this drink made of orange juice, Galliano, and vodka. Harvey was a surfer in the 1950s who lost a surfing competition. He went to a bar to drown his sorrows, and drank several Screwdrivers with Galliano. He got up to leave but kept banging into things. And a drink name was born. That’s one of the legends anyway.
The bar was owned by Duke Antone, and he not only came up with this drink but also The Rusty Nail."
Do we say L'Chaim? for this?

Ive heard that version.....
In all my years of bartending I have NEVER had to use Galiano....and neither has a bottle been used in any establishment...I'd mark the bottle upon employment to see if anyone ever actually drank the stuff...

I have an uncle Harvey and a cousin Harvey. They are each other's first cousions. That means that my grandmother and her sister liked the name Harvey enough to give their children the same names   . Ok, so my uncle's real first name is Hyman . But he goes by Harvey because Harvey is suuuuuuch a coooool name.
It is a very small world because Uncle Harvey has a history with a friend of my MIL's and they probably wallbanged. This part may be removed later.
In fact, Harvey L'Chaim-ed with me and Kelly (waterspout) but it was wine, not a wallbanger.

Only YOU would know that Harvey Wallbanger Day is tomorrow. However, it clearly pales in comparison to pigs in a blanket day, and deviled egg day, and it absolutely positively cannot hold a candle to Abby's baby naming.

Galiano tastes like licorice...so it's a licoricey tasting screw driver....
