So proud of my little Dude :-)

We had DS evaluated for EI about a little over a month ago because he scoots instead of crawls (he is 14 months), he would get very upset anytime we tried to get him to bear weight on his knees (in a crawling position) and would totally freak out anytime he was on his belly.

He was approved for services because he lacks transitional skills - he won't roll over (even though he did it at 4.5 months and still does it in his sleep), he couldn't get from laying to kneeling or sitting or from sitting to standing, and because he isn't progressing in the typical order - even though he didn't do all of those previous things he does walk with a push toy and would stand along furniture (but did not cruise).

After DSs first physical therapy session, he started cruising! The PT came back two days later and was very impressed with him, she couldn't believe the progress he made in only two days.

Then today he totally blew me away, we have really been working with him on his belly doing the exercises she gave us and today he started crawling!!!! I cannot believe it! You can see it is a lot of work for him since he hasn't built those muscles, but he is so focused and is getting it! He has also figured out how to get from a crawling position back to sitting.

He is really amazing me, even though he can go a mile a minute scooting on his butt, he is really working to crawl. I cannot believe how quickly he is getting this.
