LOVE this dress. Tried it on in a stretch jersey, and it was a bit bunchy. But I found it on Maggy London's website and it comes in stretch taffeta. It comes in 2 colors. I love the indigo, but MIL will wear a similar color. Do you think the Mullberry will clash too much?

Ooooh! It's stunning! Hmmmm... I'd RATHER go with the indigo for coordinating with the BPs sake, but I think you'll be fine with the mulberry. It's a really gorgeous dress!

ETA: This is the color of DH's tie/vest?

Yup, his tie and vest. I love the indigo too. I just want to make sure MIL is okay with wearing a similar color to me. Overall I like the Mulberry, but I think it will clash with DH. I was sooo happy to find that it came in a different material. The jersey just showed off all my back fat Chat Icon Chat Icon

Gorgeous dress! I love it in both colors. I think the mulberry will be fine. The turquoise is an accent for DH--it's not like he is wearing the turquoise gown. The mulberry will look nice next to a black tux.

I would wear the indigo, but let MIL know so she can voice her opinion.

I talked to her. Neither of us care. Now I'm just waiting to hear back from the bride as to whether she cares.

Although, I'm no help with choosing the color, I can tell you that I have that dress in mulberry and it beautiful and flattering.

Thanks, everyone! I ordered it in Indigo. I think it will look better with DH's attire. Plus, for the last wedding I attended, I wore a wine colored dress, which is in the same color family as purple. So I kind of want to do something different.
