 Glad to hear she is better and will be ok.
It's amazing how we put so much emphasis on a helmet (and rightly so) to protect our heads. And I had this discussion with other moms at my son's baseball game - they wear cups to protect their goods, and helmets to protect their heads, but an important thing is their chest! One hit to the chest at the wrong moment can stop their heart!
Just so scary! Not sure how a parent goes through that!

Ugh that made me cry and made me want to put my daughter in a plastic bubble for the rest of her life.

omg im crying reading this! what a great dad and seriously such a strong girl. kudos to mom for knowing something was wrong!
That's one of the main reasons I shared it. I bet a lot if people would think the injury couldn't have been that bad, but thank God they acted on it - and fast!
It IS so scary. I want to put my son in a bubble, too!
