So sesame street live was a complete waste of money for me
So we arrrived this morning right as the show was starting. Maddie was memorized at first but that lasted all of about 10mins. The rest of the time was spent climbing up and down the stairs, running through the empty aisles or running around the concession area. I even bought her one of those spinning things that light up as a way to get her to sit still for 5mins and that's how long it worked, 5mins. It's great that so many of you can bring your little ones to these shows and they have a great time but clearly my 2yr old is still not able to sit still through these events. I'll give it another try when she's 3 I guess.

We went last night and had to leave early. Ryan was great for the first 40 minutes, but then there was a 20 minute intermission! Why would they have intermission at a children's show? We left a few minutes after the show started up again.
Sorry you had to leave!

We had great seats right above floor level. The place was pretty empty since it was a Fri morning I guess. I'm glad I didn't buy the floor seats because during intermission I let her wander around and sure enough she went right for the stage! Guess she really wanted to perform not watch.

So you could buy the $15 elmo balloon that is why they have a 20 min intermission

I actually liked the intermission since I was able to let her run around down on the floor for a little bit.

Im guessing for the kids to use the potty.. depending on how crowded the show is it could take awhile with the lines.. plus they want you to spend $$$$ to keep your kids occupied in that time.

DD did not move the entire show. She loved it. Which is suprising because she hated the characters the 3 times we went to sesame.
DS on the other hand was not happy. He did not want to sit there.
