So the nausea finally passed, but
I am still sick....
Not to share TMI, but I went from 24/7 nausea and throwing up, sometimes piggy-backed with diarrhea, to just diarrhea... My stomach hates me! Either that or this baby HATES FOOD... Two different medicines, and now its this... I cant take it mcuh longer I am ready to crack... my lower back muscles are stiff from the constant use... for months... 16/17 weeks.. There's gotta be an end soon...
Has anyone ever experienced such "discomfort" for as long as this?? If so what helped??
I am allergic to Peptobismal.. And I have popped antacids, I need suggestions..

Re: So the nausea finally passed, but
I had to really watch what I ate for a few months. Bread and potatoes basically for the first trimester. Boy am I grateful for prenatal vitamins so at least I knew my baby was getting some nutrition. I lost weight during the first trimester, but my baby was born at 9 pounds 1 oz, so something worked.
Ginger ale helped me a bunch...
Sorry I don't have more useful advice, I just wanted to send some warm vibes your way. Hope you are feeling better soon!!!

I am soo sorry you have been feeling so miserable! I get the doubled ickiness too sometimes. I asked my dr WHY! I was under the impression PG hormones make you constipated. He told me everyone reacts differently to pg hormones, some get constipated, some get the runs. It stinks!
