So there is 4 of us going on the cruise from NYC and we have no idea which way would be best for us to get to the pier. Any suggestions??!!
So there is 4 of us going on the cruise from NYC and we have no idea which way would be best for us to get to the pier. We also I guess need to take the car seat for my dd... Any suggestions??!! if you know a limo company let me know PLEASE and if you have taken it to a cruise pier that would be fantastic!
ps (no one can drive us)

Can I ask when you are going as we are going on a cruise from NYC in 3 weeks.
I just had this dilemma and it will be cheaper for us to just drive and park in the parking garage then to take a limo.
We have 4 of us too, my dh, myself, my 9 1/2 yr. old and 4 1/2 yr. old.

We recently went on a cruise out of ny and paid to park at the parking garage

I went on a cruise out of NYC last year. We took the train to Penn and the four of us hopped in a cab right outside of the station. Was great - and very cheap. Not sure about the car seat issue, though.

My parents used to sail out of NYC all the time before Celebrity moved to Bayonne. The port is a bit of a pain - but they use (and we use to get to the airport) http://www.carizmatransportation.com/
they have always been reliable and they drive safely (no mr toads wild ride)

Take the train to Penn and then take a cab - No need to lug around the carseat then -

we did the exact same thing--- very easy...we took a large suitcse each and maybe a travel.....i would do it this way again if i had too!

how much luggage did you take on the train?
DH and I had a big suitcase, two carry on suitcases, and a tote. Our friends had about the same.
