So this morning I was supposed to go audition for America's Got Talent
as a vocalist. I am not there.. and feel upset about it but I also know that today, I was not ready for it. In terms of schedule and not feeling so great lately. I said out loud this morning that "there is always next year to audition" or other auditions or other music competitions.. so my boss heard me and he goes, come in here to my office, close the door and sing a song for me. So, I felt a little nervous about that.. went in and belted out a few bars of a Whitney Houston song.. and he said he expected me to sing good, but not THAT Good, he's like what are you doing here? You have so much control in your voice..
So, ladies and gents... here I am at work.. and I feel like I should have been at this audition this morning.. BUT - really with everything going on in my personal life - it really is not the right time to go audition today.
Okay - thanks for letting me vent this morning..

If you dont feel like its the right time, then its not. I wish you the best to achieve the dreams you set for yourself.. just make sure your not just talking yourself out b/c of fear. Like in adam sandler movies "YOU CAN DO IT"...

Now I can reply with "I know where you're coming from" 
Last night I read an article in the newspaper about the LI Ducks anthem audition. They said it was the 4th year they've done this audition and I was so sad that I haven't known about any of them. All DH could say was "write it on the calender and make sure you're there next year" That's the only thing I can do I guess There will be other auditions and you'll go to those. Maybe I'll be in line next to you.
