that they send for the holidays. I NEVER EVER buy toys for the kids in my life, but now that I have my own....I gotta do what I gotta do Chat Icon

anyway, there were a few standouts.

one of them was Stinky the Garbage Truck. I think it's hysterical Chat Icon does it really stink? Chat Icon Chat Icon

the other was the FAO Schwartz Kitchen. it looks so cool, but why is it PINK???? have they not heard of Gordon Ramsey or Anthony Bourdain?!?!?!? Chat Icon

and the third...well, this really upset me. and you can call me a prude or whatever but I don't see the need for this "toy" at all!!!! Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon

I really don't see why children should be playing with a "toy" machine gun!!!!! I think it's out of control. totally.Chat Icon

My only issue w/ the catalog is that there is a "girls" section and a "boys" section. My nieces like cars and who knows, maybe my boys will want a kitchen.

I totally agree. My son would love his very own broom and dustpan (probably wouldn't care if it was pink, though DH would). He loves his vaccum. Forget about a kitchen, most are pink. What about a neutral color. In real life how many people actually have a pink kitchen.

Yea I think FAO has that kitchen in red as well.

We got the fisher price one though ...I liked that the height adjusted.

We had nerf guns as kids....granted not as advanced as these. But we use to play with all the kids on the block "Nerf Wars." If you've never been in a Nerf War I suggest it.

Actually, I have to disagree. Most play kitchens I see are neutral colors like beige. I also notice in stores they sell items like vacumns/brooms/etc in basic colors like red/blue. Not gender specific.

I JUST got back from TRU like 10 minutes ago. I bought Eddie, Stinky. Have you seen the video of it on amazon......I may have to "hide" it after a while. It is super cute though and its getting great reviews.

ETA: I agree and Eddie will not ever get that gun. Thats excessive. Im not anti-toy gun either, but like a little water gun.
