So, to continue my positive streak...
I baked a pineapple upside down cake and brought it into work today. I left it in the faculty room with a note for everyone to enjoy, and I think I spread a little happiness around It was good to hear people talking about the cake in the faculty room, rather than how miserable they are. And I'm recruiting those I feel I can to be on my positive kick with me at work

I just read this.l That's great! Sometimes it really doesn't take much to make everyone's day a little better. I interviewed at a place where there was a huge sign up for someone's birthday, and where everyone had pretty pictures on their office doors. It really made the environment so much more personal and welcoming. Good for you for making your work environment that much better. You seem like a great person to work with.
