So tonight we tried Pop Rocks.
I only wish I had my camera ready for the look of shock.
He's been talking about Pop Rocks since some camp counselor told him about it, so last week I picked up a couple of packets & figured he can at least get to try them once before I ban them.
DH tried them too. In his opinion, they taste just as disgusting as they did decades ago.

OMG, the first time I tried pop rocks I hated them. Of course I kept going back for more (sucker that I was!)

Remember the rumor about the kid that was Mikey in the Life cereal commercials? The story was that he died after washing down some pop rocks with a can of Coke. Not true, though, I went to high school with a relative of his.
I was never a fan of the taste, but they were cool.....

DS got these for Halloween, and I of course opened them to eat them (I love them)-
He was hesitant, but I insisted he try- he hated them... thats ok- more for me
