So wait... Do you not eat CHOCOLATE???- spinoff to hot chocolate post
This is a spinoff to the Hot Chocolate Post. I am not trying to be crazy or narotic by asking this but so many girls responded to that post saying they stay away from ALL caffeine (so are you including chocolate in that category of caffeine). 
I have been saying too that I have not had ANY caffeine either- this meaning no coke, no coffee, no tea etc...(even though MD said 1 cup of coffee a day is fine) I just choose to stay away BUTTTTTT my question.....I still eat chocolate- I have hot chocolate maybe 1 a week, choc. ice cream, chocolate chip cookies...etc...
I am not saying I consume a diet of ONLY chocolate, but I do indulge in it!!
So please....tell me....what is everyone else doing???

I'm guilty...I've done the same. I haven't had any soda at all and I only drink decaf coffee or tea. However, I do have hot chocolate once in a blue moon, and I have eaten a few candy bars, etc. My doctor also said that some caffeine everyday is fine, so I figured if I indulge in a chocolate bar/cocoa once every few weeks it's probably not a big deal.

i stay away from caffeine........
no coffee, no soda
but i will have 1 cup of cocoa. and an occasional piece of chocolate

I eat chocolate like theres no tomorrow. I'm not a soda drinker and I drink cofee once ina blue moon. Chocolate however is a different story. I can't live without it!!!! lol

for some reason i replied under my liw name. i didn't even know i had that account on here... anyways...
have hot chocolate on occasion (mainly to warm me up when it's cold out) but not solid chocolate. not because of the caffeine, but it's strangely been one of my food aversions...
i'm staying away from all coffee, tea, soda etc. though. i think hot chocolate has 35-ish mg of caffiene in it per cup whereas coffee has about 150mg in it per 6oz, so i'm ok with that once every few weeks.

Same here. I cut out everything else - coffe, tea, iced tea, soft drinks.
Chocolate doesn't have that much caf...especially milk chocolate.

I eat my fair share of chocolate. I cut out all caffeine in the 1st trimester, but I'm only human. I'm not a coffee drinker, but I live on iced tea, and I drink plenty of it.

Honestly, once I was past my first Trimester I stopped worrying about caffiene. I don't drink coffee or cola but I do have hot chocolate or tea once a day.

I'm guilty of eating chocolate...Even ate it with my first pregnancy.
I don't go crazy, but, I do treat myself here and there.
I don't drink Cola or Coffee. If I do want tea, it's decaf.

I ate chocolate when I was pregnant and I had caffeine on occasion. Everything is fine in moderation. A Coke or a bar of chocolate every now and again won't do any harm. I say........EAT AND ENJOY!!!

Chocolate is a staple for me  ...I dont drink soda or have caff. coffee, but theres no way I was cutting out chocolate ( I was worse with my DS and he is a very healthy and intellegent 3yo now !!)

I eat chocolate. The amount of caffeine in chocolate is small, so unless you are eating copious amounts, every day, you aren't ingesting much.
After the first trimester, I would also drink some soda once or twice a week, but I stopped that now because caffeine can worsen contractions and I have been having preterm contractions.
From the research I have done, the dangers from caffeine are mostly in the 1st trimester when the baby is doing most of its development.
