There is someting called totnastics that might be good for her.

Some dance schools have mommy and me classes for toddlers that look like fun.

same here, i keep DD in music together because she gets such a kick out of getting up and moving about. The teacher loves that she does it.

I swear--this little girl in his class goes right up to the teacher and dances in front of him--

My friend was trying to make her sit down and the teacher said "no--let her be"

I agree about MT...DD is 22 months and will not sit still at all...we go to the Manhasset location and the teacher is wonderful about the kids getting up to dance or whatever...
I would also suggest Saf-T-Swim...we go to Westbury and love it. Also, I am not sure where you are located, but Just Wee Two. Its 90 min. a week, but it involves crafts, music, parachute play, etc. It's so much fun, we have been going for about 3 weeks know and Addie loves it! They have locations in Bayside Queens, Plainview and Manhasset in Nassau, and also in Manhattan and Brooklyn.

DS runs around the room for half the class...it is in a huge ballroom and he loves that he has so much space.
The teacher does not care at all, we start the new session tom!

There is also gymnastics or swimming.

From what my DH tells me, DD never really sits for Music Together class. She is just everywhere.
I would think that's the way it should be so the children can participate in their own way.

What is this music class like

Each semester they give you a CD with very catchy songs that the kids LOVE--DS was bopping around to the music at 7 months

You sit in a circle and sing and dance. They take out instruments and colorful scarfs and you dance and sing with the kids..Its about 45 minutes once a week. DS has been enrolled since he was 2 months and he LOVES it
