So what can a kid on in this town on a rainy saturday???
We are at a bit of a loss of what to do now that the GTG isn't going ahead. Are there any places that we can go that are inside? Like an indoor playground or something? Any ideas? I have to entertain the whole family...so any clues would be helpful!!!

There's the LI Children's Museum in Garden City. But that might be crowded.
Right next to that is the Cradle of Aviation museum, which is neat if he likes planes, but I don't think there's a whole lot of hands on stuff.
If you are willing to take a drive, my kids love Atlantis Marine World aquarium in Riverhead. It's small, so they don't lose interest before we're done.
I used to work for the LICVB&SC so I tend to point people to their website for more ideas. Discover Long Island attractions page
