So what does my office decide to do today
Have the carpets cleaned Why do they wait until we are all sitting here to do this? It stinks so bad. I have my office door closed but it is still bothering me. The smell has given me a headache. I am so mad. They should not be doing this during business hours, right? Do I have a right to complain?

You do have a right to complain. My building was having the office next door painted last week and I was dying from the fumes. I would bring it someone's attention-absolutely!

Not to hijack your thread, but I wish they were only doing carpet cleaning around here! Our roof is being replaced. The smell of tar is just permeating my office to the point that I'm working at the other end of the building in someone else's office.

They are doing it again today!!!! I am so fuming mad! I can't believe they are doing this while we are all sitting here. I sent an e-mail to our Site Supervisor to complain but have not heard anything back yet. I found another office in another part of the area that doesn't smell to work out of. I am so mad (and nauseaus)!!!!

I would... my job decided to paint in the middle of hours, plus i work in a radiology office, where there are people who are ill and a bunch of pregos.. when i asked to painters (who were wearing face masks) if i should be breathing this, he goes NO and when i asked for a face masks he says he didnt have. I walked out and went home.
