So what happens at the IVF schedule appointments?

So what happens at the IVF schedule appointments?
is it just to sit down and figure out the schedule?
do they do bloodwork at this appt ?
like Lisa said.. i am a IVF newbie too! sorry for all the questions

Oh D, so excited for you!!!!
Yes, you sit down and figure out a schedule- when to start and finish BCP's, when you'll start lupron and @ when you'll start injections.
Than they schedule you for the IVF class (which I think you said you're already taking), and schedule you for your checklist testing, which is all you and your DH's bloodwork (they take like 6 vials), and your cultures.

yea i am not sure about the classes.. i don't know what Dr. braverman does.
i have had injections before, so i don't know if there is anything different.
i started BCP's, been 2 weeks.. so i am so anxious to move forward!

Oh good luck Deanna! If you've done injections before, then the IVF thing will be a piece of cake. The injections are no different and neither is the monitoring.

for me ivf was the same as iui as far as drs visits go, bloodwork and sono
as i got closer to being ready then they decided when the retrievel would be
good luck, the real difference for me was more injections
