SO: What if the sticky stuff is dried on?
So, when I moved they attached this paper to my car's windshield. Whatever glue they used is hardened now, and I can't get it off. I just tried goo gone and it did nothing (but make my car smell good!). I can't even scratch it off with fingernail. I maybe could using a scraping tool but I'm afraid I'll ding the windshield.
Are there any products to get off hardened glue sticky stuff?

Maybe let the Good Gone sit a while? Or try w-D 40? I'm not sure if it is better, I've never tried Goo Gone, but it works in most cases.
You can also try razor blade, but I'm not sure if that is a good idea for a windshield.
Goof Off might work--I have gotten dried paint off hard wood floors with it, but it stinks & is probably awful for you & the environment.

WD 40.
Spray it on, let it sit for a while. Then use a straight razor...it'll come right off.
Then you will need to wash the window with a window cleaner (with amonia) because the WD 40 leaves behind an oily residue.

Also a little baby oil on a cotton ball- rub it on the sticky stuff- let it sit then scrape off

Baby oil, vegetable oil, etc. to soak the stuff (use a cotton ball though so you don't soak the whole window) and let it soak in. Use a blade to scrape it off.

Thanks. I'll try the WD-40 first. I might not have let the goo gone sit too long, I just did it based on the direction. Thanks!

The car dealership used windex and a razor to get there sticker off.. not sure if its the same kinda of glue but maybe that would still work.
