So who else can relate to the new commerical
Their is a commerical where their is a woman in laudrymate that is talking to her self and is dancing. Then she takes a pair of yellow pants and puts them on her head and everyone in their is staring at her and then you see her baby in a carseat smiling.
Everytime I see this it makes me laugh because I all think we have done something like that to calms our kids.

I can definitely relate, although I haven't seen the commercial. Sounds adorable!
It reminds me of an Aunt Rosie article in the Long Islander giving kudos to the two professionally dressed, well-heeled woman on the streets of Huntington. She spotted them flailing the arms in the air, shaking their tushes & doing a jump-spin in heels. She only realized they were with a little girl and doing the Hokey Pokey when she heard the little girl sing out "....and that's what it's all about!"

Yes, we've often said it's funny but only a parent can understand the fact that you will do ANYTHING, and I do mean anything to keep your kid happy and quiet.

Saw a similar one a while ago, along the same idea. Someone was walking past someone's livingroom window, and this guy was doing a very silly (and badly executed) dance. Camera panned inside, and showed Daddy dancing for his kids...

I saw another one today....there was a lady on a train/subway and she had her socks off and was counting her toes saying 1, 2, 3, 4, 5....6, 7, 8, 9, 10 toes ready to play...wiggling them. People were looking at her weird and I have to admit so was I. Then they showed the baby next to her in the stroller with no socks on and they start giggling together....so cute!
