I guess I should answer my actual post:
1. We're going to finish/update our picture wall in our house with new frames and pictures.
2. We're going to add curtains, etc to the windows
3. We're going to reorganize our china cabinet to get the fine dishes out of their boxes and into the cabinets
4. We're going to find our basement and place things in clear plastic storage containers to make looking for things easier.
5. I want to update our full bathroom with a new vanity, sink, counter top and storage, and once this is done, I can reorganize the linen closet.

Our den/family room is the project we would like to work on. It is bare floors and walls right now. We demo'd it when we moved in. We need to put down new flooring of some sort, might put in some insulation between walls that are against the apartment we will rent in the beginning of the year and of course I can't forget the Flat Screen TV that DH wants so badly in there.  And all new furniture! 
Putting pictures up on the wall.

Hopefully painting the master bedroom
Taking our formal dining room and changing it into a sitting room...and moving that furniture into our "real" dining room.
finish up framing pics and hanging them on the walls

I have been putting it off but I plan to refinish a park bench that I bought at a garage sale two years ago for $1.00 lol.
We need to replace the carpet on the stairs

You haven't found your basement yet???
I think it's behind a door & down those stairs in your kitchen.
It's a mess, Kevin! It's cluttered in boxes and more boxes and more boxes!

Not much since we'll have a new baby in the house, and I don't want any paint or dust lingering. We'll wait until spring to do a lot--just as well, we'll need to adjust to the baby!
I'm hoping to do some decorating and store things better during this time. Maybe buy a dining room set.

Hmmmmmm where di I start?????
My younger sons bedroom ... It curently is still his nursery deco, which is Noahs Ark, Serendipity.. And we are making it into a boat themed room . I got a really cute set from Pottery Barn kids... LOve it!!!!!
Next is my living room... Has horrible wall paper , taking that down and painting.
Then is my Kitchen, again has horrible wall paper, taking that down and painting.
And last is my bedroom. Has wall paper as well, not so bad, but still hate wall paper... I just bought a new bedroom set from domestication in mocha and teal... Love those colors ... Dont' know what colors to do the walls yet still deciding!!!!!!
Then maybe retile the bathroom.....
Wow!! do you think that's to much fr one winter!!!

my list very long too and some of the items are things that were on LAST winter's list & never got done
build center island for kitchen
carpet & paint basement stairwell
re-do main stairs including new banister
switch my kid's rooms-son moving into smaller room, daughter moving into bigger room
repaint & put new floor in daughters new room
totally renovate full bath that is attached to DDs new room
re-organize basement storage/laundry area, put up sheetrock
there is more, but that is all i can think of right now.
