I love this show too.. I wish i can dance.

my favorite show on tv... I really dont have any favorites right now, cant wait to see them dance next week! I just really dont understand why that 24 year old teacher from Florida made it, in my opinion she wasnt even that good

I read an article about the show and Nigel was quoted saying something like it didnt matter if they danced perfectly.. he wanted people who would make us want to watch.. they had to have personality and look good on camera.

ITA!!! Unless she's different when she's on the show next week, I feel like I already know who will be annoying me this season!!!
I  this show!! and I can even get DH to watch it a little bit! (mainly for "poppers" and more visual routines! oh yea and short skirts

He said something about that last night - that personality counts just as much as skill. Which, with someone like Twitch, who we adore already, that may keep him around a lot longer.
I mean, I can understand when someone just has an annoying personality or doesn't have ANY personality.
But I feel bad when people get into the top 20 who probably aren't as good as the next person but have some kind of visual hook or something.
I mean it is America's "favorite" dancer, not America's "best" dancer.
Yea, totally love this show. I just wish there was a strong male balroom dancer like in years past - Pasha, Dmitriy...
