so...are we not gonna talk about SOA last night? SPOILERS
wow...what an episode! clay got a bit of redemption, kurt sutter...massochist that he is wrote himself off in a blaze of glory. Toric is no longer an issue and sherriff eli knows somethings up with the setup...wonder how Toric's death will affect the case and investigation.
can't believe they killed filthy phil (and that his body took up two crates...awww)
ETA: We finally see the angle start to play out with tara and wendy against gemma. what do you think will come of that?

Re: so...are we not gonna talk about SOA last night? SPOILERS
It was so good. My heart was pounding when the Marshall was in the room with Otto. This show really gets to me! That was a good set up with the nazis with the guns. It seems like Chibs is going to turn against Jax. Maybe hell meet up with Bobby. I cannot wait to see what goes down with Tara and Wendy! Oh, and I was SHOCKED to see Tig. I thought maybe they turned him to work for them.

Re: so...are we not gonna talk about SOA last night? SPOILERS
I watched this delayed overseas and a lot of the time the last 5-6 minutes are cut out just like the opening credits! Was there any indication what was told to Trig that his liife was spared? What deal? I'm thinking something like Clay?
What a disturbing scene with that killing! They literally took that "hands off" the club threat to the extreme
Anyone can go at anytime on this show!

I'm wondering the same thing about Nero, I hope he doesn't end up in jail because of the setup. I was on the edge of my set when Otto was in the room with the Marshall, glad he's gone.

I THINK it was because Clay cooperated with the blacks in jail that they spared Tig's life. Also, I think the blacks are using Tig's life as leverage to get Jax to give them the gun business. I was VERY leary of Tig when he showed up at the door.
The one thing with this show is that you can not anticipate anything that happens. You may think you know and then BAM! Something totally crazy happens. My blood pressure goes up watching this show for sure.

Re: so...are we not gonna talk about SOA last night? SPOILERS
Wait, I seemed to have missed something. Why did they want Tig dead? I know at some point Jax said that he wasn't expecting to see him anymore when he showed up at his door...
I am SOOOO glad the Marshall is dead!!!! I just hope Nero doesn't get stuck with the blame of killing the escort. I know the sheriff knows in his back of his mind that Nero didn't do it but its going to be hard to explain.
I wonder if Unser is going to say something Gemma about Tara's meeting with Wendy and the lawyers.

They wanted Tig dead because he inadvertently killed Pope's daughter when he was trying to kill her boyfriend. That was 2 seasons ago. That's why they killed Tig's daughter and then they wanted him also.
I wonder if Unser will tell too but I doubt it. He seemed very concerned about having the boys at the club so I bet once she tells him her plan he will secretly support it. He generally wants to do the right thing.

Ok thanks!!!. I'm just surprised it sounded like the club was in on Tig being killed.

They knew from last season that in order to end their beef with Pope that they were going to have to give Tig up as repayment for the death of Pope's daughter. Jax saved his life last year by killing Pope at the factory out in the field. The guy that now took over said in last week's episode I think that he still wanted Tig's life in retribution. So when the Persians attacked last week and the guy said his brother was missing, Jax knew that he told Tig to release the brother and obviously he didn't. When Jax asked Tig he lied to him and Jax knew it. That's when Jax realized Tig is a liability and made his whereabouts known to the head black guy. I'm really interested to see if Tig was turned.

Well, that and tig was responsible for killing opie's wife which was supposed to have been opie. Jax knows this and resents him for it because he was never aware of the plan. Also, if it wasn't for the fact that pope insisted that tig remain alive to rot in jail forever, jax would have sent him in as the sacrifice when they were in jail and had to "lose a member" but instead he was forced to choose someone else and couldn't and chose himself but then opie went in for him at the last minute. there is alot of resentment there and it seems jax has always felt that it should have been tig in that room getting beaten to death with a pipe.

Oh I forgot about all of that with Donna. I missed the first season so I'm not too familiar with that and I also forgot about him not being able to choose Tig to go in instead of Opie. Good points!
