Soccer Coach gift
Any ideas to get DS's coach a gift? We had him in the Fall and he was awesome with DS. DS isn't the most athletic and has some delays, but outgrowing a lot. We started him at 4 trying soccer and he hated it. Last Fall when he started K we thought we'd try again and got on the head coaches team who runs the league. He was amazing with DS. Really gave him extra time to work with him and boost his confidence. I didn't get a gift for him in the Fall. We signed up for Spring soccer bc DS loved it so much and found out the coach picked DS to be on his team (which we were hoping he'd get). Another great season with this coach.
I want to get him a little something as a thank you. Any ideas?

gift card is the usual gift. Coffee, Dicks (sports store in general), movies, ice cream places...

last year we got miki's coach a whistle engraved with "Coach Al" - this year for KJ's coach, we are giving a GC

my dh is a soccer coach and he really likes everything the kids get him
sometimes the team collects and gets him a gc to dicks or models
he has gotten a polo shirt with the teams name on it
he appreciates all of the gifts
its really just knowing that people appreciate him too

My Dh has been coaching soccer and other sports for years and never expects but is thankful for every gift he gets. He often gets modells, Sports Authority, Dicks gift cards. He often puts those back into his teams as well. He has bought more cones, team bench, agility training gear to use in his drills. He also gets a lot of DD gift cards which he uses to buy his team donuts after the games.
 Gift cards range from $10-25+
The best are those awesome handwritten sincere notes from parents and esp the kids!

DH and I coached last fall and we got 2 gifts at the end- both GC's to restaurants. They were unexpected and very appreciated!
