plainview is not too far away. the mid island y jcc has social skill classes for children with special needs. you dont need to be a member or to be jewish to use the services. they typically run on sundays. you can fm me for more details.

Hi I'm a special ed teacher in queens and a parent of mine just told me today about a great place in wantagh called Smile Moments. Her sons go and she said its wonderful and they also have sibling groups.
