Socks or tights
With this dress for both my girls...11 months and 3.75 years. They will both have white patent leather shoes on.

i would base it on - do they tend to run hot or cold?
for us - Em's ALWAYS hot....so we'd go socks...

hmm I'd say tights but I guess if its warm socks? I think I like tights better with closed shoes.

DD had that dress and she wore it with both. Depends on the weather. She wore tights on Easter, socks at her cousin's christening in the summer.

I would say it depends on the weather - warm I would go with short ruffle socks but if it is cold I would opt for the tights.
