I have a couch I LOVE from room and board...I don't find them too expensive. I have to say my couch is microfiber and is taking a beating from my daughter but it's holding up beautifully.

I was just looking on their site and I have to agree with you and retract my initial . While some of their stuff is crazy money (ie: the marshmallow couch...) a lot of it is in line with Crate and Barrel, Pottery Barn etc...
