Solar Powered Patio Umbrella
i am looking to purchase one b/c my umbrella is old with the new set we got last year. i saw BBB has one that is 9ft tall that i like. i wonder about how long the solar power will last. do you get a few hours out of them, given you have a sunny day? are they bright enough to have dinner underneath? TIA

I doubt they are bright enough but how do they get charged if they are under the umbrella?

Re: Solar Powered Patio Umbrella
We got ours at Lowes last year. The solar lights last for hours and are pretty bright. I usually have some candles out on the table too, so it's bright enough for dinner. I don't think you'd have a problem with dinner if you just used the umbrella lights.

There is a panel on top of the umbrella and that's what charges the lights. Just like those solar light stakes that you can put around your yard.

I was thinking about one of these too. What a great way to get light. I have only seen them at Lowe's but I haven't really looked around. Shop online a little bit too and see if anyone else sells them. GL!

We got ours for $99. I'd look around or wait for the Memorial Day sales maybe.
