Some news~

Well... in one of my last posts I had written about the experience I had last Friday not feeling well...and then not to hearing from the DR, after he was paged...

Well...The NP has called me a couple times this week to make sure I was feeling better (making up for the big mess up on their part Im sure) and in convo's we had she said...if you still dont feel good call me, and we'll have you come in this week...

SO I feel better but not 100% and I had an apt. for next week anyway- so I decided to see if we could move it up til today...Sure enough they took me this morning...

They checked the heartbeat and sound it sounded great...my levels were fine, and so was my blood pressure (a little on the lower side, but fine) They also gave me a lab slip for my glucose test (which I have to fast for....????)

Anyways- She says it might be the heat...but they'll know more after I do my blood work... I go on to tell her a little bit about whats going on with work..and all the lifting, and up and down on my feet (and of course the stress) and she looks at me and goes...
"If we put you on pelvic rest and what makes you think you can still be lifting children...??"
I told her that the only thing I specifically was told not to do was have sex...so I just figured everything else I do was fine...

Anyways- she wants me out of the classroom and in the office...(which I was training for anyway...she just wants the full time position to start a little sooner) She wrote a note... and hopefully my boss will comply with it... she said if not to call her and we'd have to do something else!

They said we are doing a sono at 32 weeks... (so im guessing the end of august) to see if my placenta moved... and then we'll re-evaluate the situation (but by then I was going in the office FT anyway)

Other than that...everythings fine!

Also-

my next apt. was made for another 4 weeks...

I thought for sure I would've started 2 week apt.'s (Im 27 weeks today)

My next apt... is 8/16...which will make me just a day shy of 31 weeks..

Im assuming...after that they will make 2 week apt's and Ill really be going for my next sono at 33 weeks??????

I was told no sex, no lifiting! I'm surprised your Dr didn't tell you that in the begining.

yes you have to fast before going for your 1hr glucose test...I did it 12 hours before my test...I am having the 3hr test tomorrow so I can't eat or drink anything except water after 8pm tonight..

I was told to start fasting after midnight... then I was gonna go first thing in the am before work...7am....thats fine right???

my friend started at midnight and she failed the 1hr....she did 12 hours and passed the 3hr...i fasted for 12 hours and failed the 1hr...who knows...lol

I took the 1 hour a little over a week ago and was not told to fast, maybe that is why I failed! Anyway I took the 3 hour on Monday on a fast, no water or anything. I stopped eating after around 9 on sunday night and I was at the doctors office 8:30 Monday morning. I passed this time. I hope you have good veins. Mine are terrible and they have to draw blood from either my hand or forearm so now I look like a drug addict.

I think all DR.'s give different requirements...(at least thats what the recording said on the phone at the lab)

By the time I eat dinner and a little desert it'll probably be like 10... so tech. im starting to fast like 2 hrs. earlier...

Hey there, My DR said SEX is fine.. It just might get uncomfortable towards the end... Anyone else?

I didn't fast before mine and I passed - weird!

I wanted to add I just had an appt. at 32 weeks - now I am seeing her every 2 weeks instead of 4 (for the next month) then every week in my last month.
