some of the stuff I picked for the new bathroom-with a question
This is the bathroom that is in our new guest bedroom, it will not be used very often. At first I wanted to go with basic chrome, but DH was thinking rubbed bronze. What do you think? So far we have
marble floor
pedestal sink with wainscotting on walls
one piece shower-white
Silver sage paint
Simple mirror/cabinet
I'm still leaning toward chrome, what do you think? Does anyone have this color combo? Do you have pics?

Re: some of the stuff I picked for the new bathroom-with a question
We have a similar look in our upstairs bathroom but with white hex tiles on the floor and white subway tiles on the walls, a shade lighter than silver sage on the walls (RH's Pale Silver but matched by BM), and chrome fixtures.
I think I'd really lobby for the chrome, I think it looks much better with the cooler tone of silver sage.
ETA: I really like everything you chose! I have the same pedestal sink and wainscoting in my downstairs bath. Image Attachment(s):

very pretty! Thanks for the pic! I don't think the rubbed bronze goes with my current choices-if DH really wants to I'll probably change the wall color & the floor.

I agree with you, if he is dead set on the rubbed bronze (which is lovely but just doesn't go with the current color scheme) you can find flooring and paint that has warmer tones. It will look great either way!

Rubbed bronze is beautiful but with your color combo I would definitely say chrome.

What you selected is basically my 1/2 bath. I would definitely go with the chrome!

Re: some of the stuff I picked for the new bathroom-with a question
i opted for ORB in the powder room but the walls are a chocolate brown w/ creamy ivory painted beadboard. i really think you can go either way w/ the fixtures however i prefer satin nickel as opposed to chrome.
keep in mind that if you choose ORB, that all metal needs to also be ORB including the toilet lever and doorknob. you could also tie in the brown color with the artwork frames.
eta: what about matte black? i plan to use matte black fixtures in another bath redo. might be harder to find than the bronze but i think it adds something different.
