Some people are heartless-UPDATE
Earlier this evening I was getting ready to go to a friends house when my dogs started barking like crazy....we live on a dead end and there was a car parked up on the grass on the dead end.
I saw the passenger door open and close then they speed away....I noticed two small grey cats in the dead end...I went outside and one was a kitten and another appeared to be the mom.
With my neighbors help I was able to retrieve the kitten but I can't find the mom...we are going to take the kitten to the shelter in the morning, but what I don't understand is how come the people who rudely discarded the cats weren't smart enough to think on that?
Animal Control just came and picked up the kitten...hopefully she will be adopted by a caring family who won't through her out on the street like garbage...
As for the mom I'm going to keep an eye out, hopefully she will come around so she can find a nice family too

i just feel so bad for it...I put it in a spare crate that we had gave it a blanket and some water and food and it has just stayed in the corner all curled up...looks sooo sad...poor thing...i think it misses its mommy

My parents just took in a cat. Apparently some people in the neighborhood were feeding it for a couple of months.
My mom started to worry because winter is approaching. A couple of weeks ago a woman around the block called my mom and she went and picked it up. The cat now is completely in love with my parents. I think she is so happy to be in the warm indoors.

What is wrong w/ people!!?
My Uncle got one of his dogs that way. A car was driving around the bend of his block & threw a puppy out the window in the pouring rain while the car was moving!!! My Uncle saw it and went out to get the license # but couldn't get it in time. But took the puppy!
Glad you saw this and were able to get the kitten - maybe the Mom will turn up too.

we just put some tuna outside...hopefully the mom will come by..i feel bad that she is out in the cold

This is so sad and it happens all the time. My cousin rescued a kitten that somebody threw out of a moving car, on a main road!!!! That kitten is now a member of a LIF poster's family. Try posting on pets and maybe you will find someone looking for a kitten.

OMG - that is horrible...but so great of your dogs to alert you and for you to take the kitten in from the cold. Fortunate that for as many crappy people that there are who do this...there are nice people like you who rescue these innocent little guys.
