Some people drive me crazy
Last night I took my 9yr old to his rollar hockey game and they have a swing set there also. So after watching the game for a few min. I took my 2yr over to the swing set and put him on the swing which he was having a great time untill these two losers (adults) came and sat on the swing next to ds and lit up a cigerette and continued smoking as the smoke was going right in ds face. Also as they were talking they were cursing. So I had to remove ds from the swing and bring him over by the slide part.
Please tell me how can an adult can be so rude. They had no reason to be on the swing set and how could smoke right near my ds. I smoke also (not very much) but I would never, never go smoke near someone's child. For god sake I don't even smoke in front of my mom and I'm 29yrs old.
Sorry just had to vent, I can't stop thinking about it.

I would have said something. Especially if you were there first.

I was thinking about it but if you would of heard the way they were talking you would of been able to see it wouldn't of mattered what I said, they probably would of just sat there and smoked more.

I understand. In the end, DC is more important and you were right to remove yourself and DC from the situation.

Just if everyone would have a little more respect for the people around them maybe this would be a better world

Oh I so wanted to be like "Excuse me do you have to smoke on the play ground when you have the WHOLE dam park ground to smoke on, and do you think you could watch your mouth around a my 2yr old don't you know kids are like sponges", but like I said it wouldn't of done anything, all I need is to get beaten up in front of my ds

I would have muttered something, but not directly to them. I probably would have said "c'mon DC, we can't play here anymore because these rude people decided to light up right next to you and are cursing like sailors."
I hate obnoxious people.

Oh man, aint that the truth?
I once had a fight (verbal) with a woman in Target over something so trivial, in retrospect I'm embarrassed but she just got me at the wrong time and with the wrong attitude. I RARELY do that but I also had my DD with me. NEVER AGAIN! My DD barely noticed but I felt like a cr*ppy parent afterwards so a fist fight would definitely not be a good thing either.
