Some people really have some big ones!!
Today I went to my bff's son's baptism. I wasn't at all upset with going since she tried for over 5 years for baby #2 and she lost her mother within those years, so today was truly a happy day for her. This is my bff of 30 years, so her family is considered mine.
What I couldn't believe is what her uncle said to me. Now, her aunts asked when dh and I were going to have our kids, but I lie and tell them that we waited until this year to start trying (I will not tell them the IF issues....they are old fashioned and wouldn't understand). Some bought the lie, some I could tell didn't. But the uncle....he asked, "so what's going on? No kids? What (as he points to DH) doesn't it work?) .
I couldn't belive my ears when he said that, and in front of two of my sisters. Luckily, DH doesn't understand spanish, so he didn't know what this jackhole said. I waited until we got home to tell him (I didn't want him to make a scene), but all he did was laugh. I'm not sure if I want to smack the uncle, or Dh for thinking it was a joke.

What a Jerk!! I have insensitive family members (esp. my grandpa) and I am sometimes on edge when we see him b/c he is always one word from saying the wrong thing.
BTW, Smack em Both! lol
Glad to hear that your friend overcame infertility. She sounds like an inspiration!

Your DH probably feels it's easiest to laugh it off and your friends uncle is just an aZZ!!
BTW, you must have been so happy for your friend when she conceived!!! Definitely an inspiration!!

as a matter of fact, we call this winner "chester" as in "chester the molester" because he's THAT relative that gives you those creepy kisses (you know what I mean, a little too friendly) every time he sees you.
He's wife is like another mother to me, so this is the only reason I tolerate this azz.
