Some people should just be put in jail forever:

I was just looking at the records of where (Upstate) the guy who hit my brother is going when I decided to search some infamous sickos...

According to public records of NY State inmates, both Mark David Chapman (murdered John Lennon) and David Berkowitz (Son of Sam Serial Killer) are eligible for parole and to be released in 2010. Now, I heard that Chapman's last bid for parole was denied a few years ago, however, he is up for it again in August 2010 where the chance he will be let out is very much a concern and in the near future. As for Berkowitz, it actually says scheduled for release May 2010. That's excellent.

I was so shocked and upset by this... I just think there are some people who should be in jail, no parole, for life, no questions asked. For me, these two are in that grouping along with Colin Ferguson, Joel Rifkin, etc.

the system sucks, what can i say. and it's not just being put away in jail... emotionally disturbed people as well - i am nypd and one of my sergeant's got stabbed in the eye this past january by someone who was brought into hospitals for psych evaluations more than 10 times. they kept letting him back out. god willing, my sergeant losing his eye and having surgery on his brain was what it took to put this guy in an institution forever.
some people should not be allowed in public. period.

THere are a lot of people I would put in jail forever. Child abduction (except in the case of parental abductions), child molestors, rapists, any premeditated murder.

I realize the punishment doesn't fit the crime for societal standards but that's lame compared to what I'd really do. Lucky for those people I'm not running the system.

Believe me David Berkowitz won't be released. I know someone who is in jail for sexual crimes and when his sentence was up we all petioned for him to be sent to a mental hospital for the rest of his life.. we won.

If he is going away.. so will the son of sam killer.
