Some pics of my new sectional w/ question

I have to say - I LOVE it so much more then the old couches we had (that I bought years ago when we were renting)

The first pic. shows the true color.

My question - would you remove the end table that is near the door. I think it would be strange to only have one table in the room - but it does make the walkway pretty narrow. It's fine for when it's just me and DH here -- but if we have alot of company I think I may move it to another room.

Any opinions on what I can do with this? Pls. excuse the mess in the dining room! Chat Icon

Love the couch, and color!

I personally would move it, period.

Seems very narrow. Eventually even one of you will bang your leg into it, it seems. Can you put a coffee table instead? Or a really slim table instead if your really want something there?

I took away the coffee table bc we have a almost 7 month old now - and I wanted to make more room for all of his crap right now.

DH hates it there - but I feel like I need a place to put my coffee and the babies bottle when I'm feeding him.

UGH - my problem is this - I ALWAYS end up buying furniture that is wayyyyy too big. Chat Icon

The sectional looks great. Move the table, it does look very crowded in a walkway. Sit on the other side when you have your coffee or give bottle. Chat Icon

Re: Some pics of my new sectional w/ question

do you have a coffee table?? If not what about putting both end tables in the middle as to act like a coffee table. I think it would look very modern. I LOVE your couch...who makes it and, if you don't mind, how much was it

I don't have the coffee table out now bc I wanted the room for my son to play.

We got it at Raymour and Flanigan - and it was 1500. Sooooo reasonable!

you seem to have room for a narrow console table behind the sectional. it's gorgeous, by the way!

But, if you look in the first picture - underneath the mirror is a console table - I think it would prob. be too much to have another one.

Love the couch.

Remove the table. It looks too crowded and closed-in. Just from the pic, I would not know how to get to the couch.

Re: Some pics of my new sectional w/ question

If it was me, I would move the table because I would bump into it constantly!...just a suggestion, we also have a baby, so we put away our coffee table and bought two cheap ottomans at Target to use until we are through the learning to walk stage...

i think you answered your own question. if the current setup up works for you, DH and DS, leave it as is. when company comes, remove the end table and add the coffee table. problem solved!

looking at your DR, can you remove the console table? it looks a little cluttered. from the pic, it appears that you have another table under the window so IMO, 2 aren't necessary.

The dining room is actually fine - I do see what you are saying from the picture - but I think it's just because it was a mess when I took the pic. I need the table there - it's right when you walk into the house - so without it - it's empty!

LOVE the couch and the color..I also say move it because I hate when things are blocked off...especially with your little one there.

That was the original couch we were getting along with the ottoman. At the time, I was concerned that it would get ruined between the dog and the baby. Now I am kicking myself for not getting it! Next time!

Love it!
