...I swear to you, the amount of fashion disasters I see in my office is truly amazing.
I do not spend a lot of money on clothes. I don't buy designer except for a VERY VERY rare occassion (and a VERY VERY good sale price)
But I like to think I come to work each day looking put together, pulled together, stylish, fashionable, work and age appropriate...take your pick..
I just can't believe what some people wear to my office. Things I wouldn't wear to wash my car.
Winter clothes and shoes in summer.
Summer clothes and shoes in winter.
Things that have been in the closet since the mid 90's- no joke.
Again- I am not a fashion plate. I don't walk around in trendy, high fashion or expensive things. But for the love of GOD- take some PRIDE in yourself. You are at WORK!
I'm telling you- If Stacy and Clinton came here- they could fill a whole season with my office alone. And I would LOVE to watch it!!

Yes, this is very worthy of pics!
I hear you though. In my old office, this lady used to wear brocade and tweed suits in the SUMMER and flowery light summery dresses in WINTER. Hell, once she even wore high heeled white open toed shoes in WINTER.
We started emailing back and forth making fun of her. The subject was titled "What in the world is Flora wearing today?"
It's mean, yes. But this woman should know better!

I just saw something that made my corneas BURN!
A woman- who has no business wearing this mind you- in a ruched micro mini - the ruching was all bunched up and half her thigh was exposed. Paired with peep toe patent leather stilletos.
Mind you- this woman is in her 50's I believe, and not of the body type to be wearing a micro mini. Much less in an office.
I don't care if you are 21 years old with the hottest bod on the planet- you don't wear that to work!
Much less if you are NOT 21 years old and DONT have the shape for it.
OH.MY.EYES

I once saw a coworker wearing thigh high white patent leather gogo boots. The kind with shiny zippers up the side.

i was just going to say...what the heck kind of office do you work in? maybe they send memos out that say come to work mismatched and maybe you don't get them?!
