At 10 pm last night, someone was leaving the gym and two muggers tried to attach this woman and carjack her.
She fought them off and they fled...

I work in Garden City Plaza right across the parking lots from the mall and I hate leaving alone at night.

I saw a mugging at Roosevelt Field once. Someone tried to steal a lady's pocketbook and a few guys tackled the thief and he was arrested.

My OB/GYN is in Garden City Plaza. While I wouldn't be there at 10 p.m., I have had early evening appointments in the winter when it is dark. I hate being alone over there, its so vast! They can come out of anywhere!
