Someone is blocking our driveway by about a foot...
I know exactly who it is. Now I am not going anywhere but these people are constantly doing this and also having the workers who are working in their house do this ALL the time. They also park infront of our house.
Should I go over and say something???? THis really bothers me...just the principle..you know

maybe just leave a note on the car saying that its in everyone's best interest that they dont park there out of fear of an accident. but thank them for understanding your point of view and make it sound like its a more a favor for them than for you.

It really is a hazard because we cannot see if we are coming out of our driveway to the right...or to the left because they are currently parked infront of our house on the other side! These people are soooooooooo inconsiderate!

i would call the police and have them ticket the car. take your car and go out...and then call. they can't blame it on you if you're not home!

Never got the chance...they moved! I wanted to be spiteful! These people are rediculous! Tomorrow I think I am going to call the town and have all the cars ticketed (their 4 cars as well as the 3 from the people doing work on their house). We have one hour parking on our block and they leave all of these cars parked on the street ALL DAY long!

Someone did that years ago when I was living at home at my parent's house. I wrote a nasty note and put it on their car. My brother asked me what I was doing, so I showed him the note RIGHT as a police officer was driving down the road. He stopped to ask us what we were doing (as we clearly weren't old enough to be driving) and we explained what happened. He thanked us and ticketed the car, as well as a few others that were parked illegally on the block. It felt soooooo good!!!

Sorry, that's the kind of mood I'm in right now...
I'd knock on the door OR wait for the driver to get back and then talk to him/her.
OR, you could be passive aggressive and stick nails in the tires... That might send a message.

this happened to me a few months ago with the neighbors boyfriend. He would always park his car and his bumper was always about a foot into our driveway and 1 day I had to make a wise arse turn to avoid hitting him going into my grass so I went inside, got an index card a black marker and wrote, Hi, Please dont block our driveway. Thank you put a smiley face on it and put it on his windshield. He never did it again and the neighbor didnt say a peep! we have seen eachother since and act like nothing still friendly. Sometimes people need to be told or just dont realize it.
