I'm the mom out at a restaurant at 8pm with her infant. We are both having a blast.


I remember looking at liitle kids at restaurants and saying "shouldnt they be home sleeping?"


I'm also the mommy who loves that whined down glass of wine even more since having kids.

I am the mom who wipes her DD's boogie nose with her bare hands and think nothing of it.

I am the mom who will do ANYTHING for her child.

I am the mom who LOVES spending every day and every minute home with her DD and doesn't once regret leaving teaching and not returning to work.

I am the mom who spends all her money on her DD's wardrobe so she looks adorable even if I look like cr@p.

I am the mom who is the happiest mom in the world and who couldn't ask for a better little girl to love.

I am the mom who cried seeing DS and ALL the other kids in his pre-pre-k class move up.and cries for children I don't know at recitals or seeing them do things their mom would be proud of.

I am the mom who let's her son drink juice (1/4 juice, 3/4 water, but that's all he drinks) no, I'm not happy about it, but it is what it is.

I am the mom who could give a bleep what others think of my parenting.

I am the mom who let's her DS have desert almost everynight.
I am the mom who doesn't stand over her DS at all times. I'm so NOT a hover'er.

I am the mom who let's her DS have candy and at 1 year old was pushing him thru the mall with not one, but two dum-dums so I could get some shopping done.

I am the mom who recently started telling DS if he doesn't listen I will through his trains in the garbage (and it works!). I also tell him I will leave him wherever we are if he doesn't leave with me when its time.

I am the mom who has an amazingly wonderful DS who I love more than life. I would give anything and do anything to see him happy and am so proud of the little man we are raising. (DD is still too little to know how she'll turn out but I still love her to pieces)

I am the mom who has only a vague idea of when DS reached his milestones since I never write anything down (except on LIF) because I know that when he is an adult he won't care at all

I am the mom who feels intense guilt because we don't have nearly as many pictures of DD as we do of DS at her age - but is slightly comforted by the fact that at least we now have a better camera.

I am the mom who yells at her son when he won't stop touching the phone for the 900th time, and then cuddles him when he cries because I was yelling

I am the mom who laughs hysterically when her son yells COOKIE! because he wants one and can't have one.

I am the mom who almost cried after kissing her son all over because I know one day he won't even want a hug from me.

I am that crunchy granola type mom who wears her baby, even topless (both of us) just to have skin on skin contact.

I am that mom who HATES that her son wakes up at the crack of dawn, gets mad and then her son smiles at her, and my heart melts.

I am the mom who has a dh that "babysits" his own children.

I am the mom who goes to the pool each day with a pack and play, stroller, and bumbo...all for one baby.

I am the mom who loves the fact that there will not be a mountain of diapers for the next 250 years in a landfill with my daughter's name on it. I am the mom who wishes my son did not own a mountain of his own.

I am the mom who can't understand why parks, pools, and libraries are empty.

I am the mom who you can call from 8 AM to 9 PM for a playdate and I will show up.

I am the mom, that when the ice cream truck passed our house and didn't stop, got in the care in my pajamas and followed him about 10 miles before he realized i was following him. Just to get my kids ice cream!!!!

I am the mom who ......is still updating her 4 year olds baby book every few weeks with new pics, milestone info, etc etc. That book is FULL lol..I need a life.


I am the mom who....went through a terrible divorce and is that much more thankful for DD because of it. She and I are on the "pink team" I tell her.


I am the mom who....cried at her DD's prek moving up ceremony and dance recital last week. I am also the Mom that screamed and cheered loud and obnoxiously when the dance was over.

I am the mom who still cant believe shes a mom. i still feel like a little kid...with a kid!

I am the mom who overpacks her diaper bag to the point where it wont zip up because im overly paranoid that i will need something and it'll be the one thing not in there.
