sometimes i wonder if dh even hears what i say

MANY, MANY times in our relationship i will tell/comment something to dh about something that can improve our life (i.e. debt reduction, a book to read, or reasons to make changes/improvements to our home) and he blows me off.

AS SOON AS someone else mentions THE EXACT SAME THING, suddenly it's the gospel!! this obviously upsets me!

am i alone on this one??!!

i've been telling him about setting it up to collect rain water from our gutters.... his buddy mentioned that there are directions on treehugger.com ALL OF A SUDDEN, dh wants to use his first paycheck at lowes to set it up


i don't know what to do with the man!!
