Sometimes this kid amazes me
I was playing around with Alex before school this morning, and all of a sudden she pulls her shopping cart and says "bye bye mommy, I go shopping at supermarket now"
So, 5 minutes she comes back into the room and screams "I'm BAAAAAAAAACK"! I ask her what she bought, and she pulls out her sneakers out of the shopping cart and tells me that she bought some shoes.
So, joking, I ask her, how much did they cost?
Wouldn't you know it, the little munchkin pulled out a receipt out of her pocket (where the heck did that come from???), and starts "reading" it, and says, "it cost thirty-eight and ninety-nine"
I turned around and was like WHAT?? I mean, yeah, the kid can count to 10, but where in the world did she learn "thirty-nine" and "ninety-nine"???
