Song Suggestions for 1st Year Montage

I know that this has been discussed before, but I'm hoping for some new ideas. Does anyone have any recommendations for songs? So far I have Smile by Uncle Kracker and These Are the Days by Natalie Merchant.

I did DD's montage last year and i used Janelle's song Amazing and it was perfect, absolutely perfect for all those pictures from newborn to 1.

What do you think about Bubbly by Colbie Caillat? I know it's a love song, but the lyrics could work for a little girl too.

Not sure if all the lyrics are appropriate, but I'm always singing "The Way You Are" (Bruno Mars) to DD.

I also love Ronan Keating's version of "I Hope You Dance" and Savage Garden's "I Knew I Loved You".

You should check out Plumb. She has an entire album she wrote for her little ones. The songs are so nicely written and every time I hear them. they make me cry a little! The album is called Blink.

All good suggestions. When I did DD's, I used "You'll be Blessed" by Elton John for the beginning, newborn shots and then "Forever Young" by Rod Stewart for the playing type ones more toward the end.

Wildflowers by Tom Petty

I have the song Somewhere Over the Rainbow/What a Wonderful World by Israel Kamakawiwo?ole but after seeing your suggestion for Bubbly, I think I may use that instead!
