Sonogram question
Last night we got to see our little munchkin for the first time. We saw the heartbeat. It was so cute. It looked like someone was blowing bubbles. The dr verified that I am 6 weeks, 2 days, so I was right that I ovulated late last month. She is going to do another sonogram at 8 weeks, because the baby was so small (even so, I am still totally in love )
Anyway, when she was doing to sono, she checked my ovaries. She saw my right one and said that that is the side that I ovulated on. Then, before she even saw my left one, she said, and the left one should have a cyst on it. Sure enough, it did. Is this common? No one I have asked has heard of this, but the fact that she said it BEFORE she looked at it surprised me?
Thanks ladies!

Re: Sonogram question
Yes, I remember I was told that at my first visit while pregnant with DD. My doctor said it was totally normal for early pregnancy and probably it would dissolve on its own--which it did and I never heard another thing about it!

Re: Sonogram question
Congrats, that's great news about the baby!! They checked my ovaries too (I laughed and said no doubt they work [twins] haha ) but they explained that I could have cysts and they always check that. They checked each time they did an internal after that so the next 2 times or so.
