SOOO ANGRY!!!!
So my employer has been going through a "transitional" phase; where we're basically being absorbed by another region. All the "perks" have been slowly eliminated from our already taxing jobs. I'm at the point where I question if they are making it so uncomfortable here that we all leave, so they don't have to give us packages. Anyway, HR calls me up front today to advise me that as of 01/01/08, they will no longer be able to provide the child care subsidy which means my daycare costs will go up over $300 a month Hello!?! You wait until two weeks before to make this announcement?? What the he!! am I supposed to do now?? With the rising costs of medical coverage, etc. why am I even bothering to work?? What pisses me off more is that I didn't take the other job two months ago because of the child care subsidy
