sooo I go to get gas today...
And the station by my house has a sign for 3.79$. I think.. not so bad.
I pull in and they are OUT OF GAS!! Tell me they are not trying to pull "there a shortage" Dh thinks that maybe they just aren't buying this week because the Ike thing jacked up the prices and they are waiting for them to come back down in a few day???
Does this even make sense.. But seriously the way the prices went up you would have thought that the oil rigs were knocked into the ocean.  Money hungry jerks.

Im not really understanding why you think they are trying to pull something over on you.
I have visited many gas stations that were out of gas.
Maybe since it was a good price people were stopping there

I haven't seen anyone that was out of gas, then again, I didn't pull into a station and look.
honestly, a 20 cent increase means an extra $2 on 10 gallons. after watching the complete destruction that people in TX suffered, not to mention death, I am really not worried about it.

Our gas has not really gone up at all here that I can tell...
I paid $3.43 on Saturday evening....its still that price...

I didn't have a problem today. I used to work for a gas station when I was younger and some times the delivery didn't make it on time so they had to shut down.

I've seen one or two shut down here. Some stations went up $.50 and others stayed about $3.79.
