SOOO MAD!!!!
so... i was in an accident on december 9th. i didn't hit another car- i hit fire hydrant. pretyt bad damage- needs 2 new doors, etc. so anyway, we take it to the place that the insurance company recommended for repairs... THEY HAVE HAD IT FOR 3 WEEKS! and i just called and they're telling me its still gonna be till tuesday!!!! its unbeleiveable! i'm at work about to cry because its getting so frustrating. and i'm SO not the type to yell at people, so of course when they tell me till tuesday i say " oh ok thanks"  the only reason i'm not TOTALLY going balistic is because i'm lucky and was able to borrow one of ILs cars. (FIL is a pilot and happened to not being flying for a couple weeks)
UGH!! can't stand how frustrating this is!!

why dont you call back and ask why the delay? or call your insurance company and ask them why its taking so long??
i am a total yeller though - i would have been hounding them so much they would have fixed my car just to get me out of there.
if you feel like your being taken advantage of - you probably are - demand some answers or else it will eat @ you.

yeah-you're right. its just gonna keep eating at me. i'm at work now, but i'm gonna call the insurance company when i get home and let them know how long its taking, and that i don't appreciate them recommending a place that can't service cars in a reasonable amount of time.

I know exactly how you feel. I got hit on November 6th and didn't get my truck back until December 10th. The last two weeks I got nothing but excuses from the guy. The only thing is, my truck is perfect!!!!! I can't find a single mistake in what he did - so I figure it's good when they take their time and do it right.

oh, i TOTALLY agree... and thats why i haven't yelled at them. i'd rather it take longer and have good work done on it. plus, its not totally their fault... it was one of those things where they couldn't see the whole extent of the damage until they actually started to work on it, and then needed to order more parts, etc... plus i'm sure christmas week nothing got done- LOL
its just SOOO frustrating! i'm glad to hear my car's not the only one that took awhile, though!
