SOOO UPSET I AM SOOOO MAD AT MYSELF

so somehow i deleted every single picture on my computer!!! 12GB of pictures!!! i brought my computer to my guy and he got 5GB back but not everything. I lost all my pictures!!!!

i ad all of DD life broken into folders for every month up to the 1st year, every 3 months after that up until now 2 1/2!!!! i got all of my wedding pictures though, i would have dealt with that, i could have gotten a copy from the photogrpahers but my baby!!!!! i do have then loaded in shutterfly, myspace, facebook etc, but do you know how long it's going to take to save each picture one by one!!!!!!!

BACK UP ALL OF YOU PICTURES NOW!!!!!!!!!!

I fellt like throwing up!!!!

I backup my pics onto rewritable CD's

We back up all of ours onto an external hard drive, just in case.

Luckily you have them somewhere else.

I have them on an external hard drive and an additional copy on CDs.

In the photo class I am taking, the teacher said to copy of at least 2 copies of CDs. I am thinking about getting an additional hard drive too as a back up to the one I have.

With 12GB of photos, CDs just aren't a viable option. I currently have 40GB of photos, so I understand your dilemma. I keep all my photos on 5 different drives, both at home and at work. I'm overly paranoid about losing everything, too.

How upsetting! I have my pics on my computer and on 2 different flash drives.. but I STILL worry that I'm going to lose them. I don't know how many pics I have.. but not nearly as many as you!

OH mY!! at least you have a good chunk of them back and seems like you can get the rest of them, granted it will take a while.

2 years ago DH started sneaking out his mothers photo albums and scanning the pictures from then b/c he made her a dvd montage. He's really anal and has them all categorized.
Thank god he backed them up to an external flash drive b/c he got some virus on youtube one day and we had to wipe out his whole harddrive and reformat windows.

Go out and buy one from staples..its a little usb drive..they're cheap, but it saved us losing thousands of pictures!

That's heartbreaking!

I backup each month's album on shutterfly. If you order the disc from them, they are not full size, but at least you have a copy of the photo.

Thank god I've been doing this since my dd was born, because I have gone thru more laptops than I care to admit

I have a ton of pics uploaded on FB. But you';re right. I should definitley back up!
