Soooo frustrated
My AP is SO frustrating. He has no idea how to run a guidance department. He was never a counselor. He knows nothing about the college admissions process, discipline, counseling ethics, or how much I handle in an average day.
Ugh. Thanks for letting me rant.

Im a school counselor too and I know how you feel.. Were in a tough position at the school... not many people know what we really do...

I'm the only counselor on their payroll (which is great for job security, lol) but I feel like no one else knows what I do. Ugh. With the budget cuts in SDs all over NY, I'm not going to be able to leave, either.
Anyone know how to teach an AP how to run a department?!?
