Sores on dogs genital area?
After having my female chi groomed she has sores around her vaginal area, this is the 2nd time this happened after grooming, any ideas what this could be? She doesn't seem to be bothered by it but not sure if I will use this groomer anymore.

Sores on dogs genital area?
What type of sores are they? When we first got coco she would get little green puss filled sores. We took her to the vet and she winded up having a staff infection. She didn't need meds because it was only topical.

Could just be friction from grooming. My dogs occasionally get blisters like abrasions from rubbing harness or even grooming. You should see a vet though b/c it could be a bacterial infection.
eta- I would not use that groomer anymore. My dogs get groomed all the time and only had that happen one time from a new groomer who was awful.
